This Navratri, Flawless Look With These Skin Care And Makeup Tips

New Delhi: Festivals can inevitably lead to two situations: a perfectly enjoyable and energetic day when you are at your best, or a tiring and sweaty day from the heat and humidity. While it’s understandable that sweating is a perfectly natural human body function, heat and sweat can cause a few skin issues like clogged pores, blackheads, acne, pimples, and rashes. However, there is no reason to despair if you can follow a few beauty tips that can keep skin problems at bay.

Before going deeper into the subject, you should know that the golden principle of care is Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing, which we cannot do without at all costs. Cleansing the skin is gaining importance in order to get rid of sweat and oil deposits. A proper CTM routine helps keep the skin hydrated and restore the skin’s normal acid-alkaline balance to prevent rash conditions such as pimples and acne. Sunscreen is essential

Protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun’s UV rays by applying sunscreen, before sun exposure, to the face and exposed areas of the body. Select a sunscreen or sunscreen with an SPF of at least 20 or 25. For skin sensitive to the sun, apply a higher SPF of 40 or 60. If the skin is dry, sunscreen should be applied, while than for normal to oily or combination skin, a sun gel is more suitable. Sunscreen should be applied about 20 minutes before sun exposure, to give it time to be absorbed into the skin. It must be reapplied if you are in the sun for more than an hour at a time. The effects of the sun increase near bodies of water and snow because they reflect solar radiation. In the treatment of skin pigmentation, protecting the skin with sunscreens is an important aspect.

Go for a light and matte makeup

Make-up, festivities, heat and sweat require a judicious choice of cosmetics. The heat can further stimulate the sebaceous and sweat glands, making the skin oily. You should therefore select matte products without oil. Matte products do not contain mineral oil and other oils, makeup will not be greasy, especially during the day. Using matte products helps control the greasy appearance.

Rose water tonic

Bursting with vitamins such as vitamin A, C, D, E, and B3, rose water is a wonderful ingredient for a skin toner. Rose water is suitable for all skin types and can protect the skin from heat and pollution, cool the skin and give it a natural glow. It has antioxidant properties, providing youthful skin and sealing in natural moisture.

Use a mattifying agent

The mattifying agent is a magical product for oily skin. The primary objective of applying a mattifying agent is to reduce oil production to prevent the skin from becoming oily and too shiny. The mattifier can be a light powder, or a matt lotion, balm or moisturizer. They should help absorb sebum, reduce fat, shrink pores, and minimize blemishes.

Don’t forget the eye primers

To keep your makeup firm even around the eyes, wearing an eye primer can be a godsend. This is because eye primers prolong the life of eye makeup and also prevent wrinkles.

Spray the heat with a cooling mist

For your face to be smooth and shiny throughout the day, hydration is important. A refreshing mist does just that in a more efficient way. A fine spray of mist can quench your skin’s thirst and restore balance, adding an attractive glow.

Put on refrigerated sheet masks

At the end of the long day of partying, be sure to give your full attention to your nighttime skincare routine. Remove your makeup at night. Starting with a refrigerated fabric mask will relax your face and provide it with hydration. Aloe vera or cucumber masks can be made at home and then stored in the refrigerator to cool before application. You can also put almond cream or lip balm.
