Chimento explained that people with oily skin will likely notice an increase in oil production in the spring and summer, so a lighter moisturizer is best.

“Using a gentle exfoliator, perhaps in the form of a cleanser, is beneficial so that you can get rid of rough, dry skin that has built up over the winter months,” Chimento told HuffPost. . She also recommends a non-comedogenic sunscreen (meaning one that doesn’t clog pores), if your skin is oily.
