The 2 SKKN By Kim Kardashian skincare products are worth checking out

The product formulations in Kim Kardashian’s skincare line mean business. Launching on Tuesday, June 21, the all-new products in the SKKN BY KIM collection are a nine-step skincare routine that the media mogul and skincare influencers (or skinfluencers) say will give you a boost. serious shine – but at a heavy cost. Because these are luxury products with luxury price tags, I’m not on these streets telling anyone to drop over $600 down the line. There are, however, two products that I think are worth splurging on.

Along with launching several successful brands — RIP, KKW Fragrance — into the beauty industry, Kardashian has worked with enough skincare experts to know what she’s talking about. She also talked about the lengths she’s willing to go to to maintain and preserve her own youthful appearance, and given how seriously she takes skincare, it’s no wonder early reviews of SKKN BY KIM are positive. This businesswoman knows what works. She also knows what sells.

However, even Kardashian herself seems to be aware that a nine-step skincare routine isn’t for everyone. On Monday, June 20, the day before the official launch of SKKN BY KIM, the brand announced via Instagram that a five-piece “essentials” set would be available for purchase. The essential set includes cleanser, toner, hyaluronic acid serum, face cream and SKKN BY KIM oil drops at a reduced price of $305, which is $53 less than the cost of purchasing each product individually.

How much does SKKN BY KIM cost?

Even reduced to the essentials, SKKN BY KIM’s price is high-end and not affordable for everyone. The cleanser is the most affordable product at $43, followed by the toner for just two dollars more. The face cream is $85, the eye cream $75, and the oil drops and night drops are $95 each. There’s a slight discount – around $10 per product – for refills, which is a nice touch.

If, like me, you don’t have more than $300 to spend on beauty products – and that’s only for the “essentials” – you can always go for the skin care line called “super gentle for sensitive skin” and “unlike anything I’ve tried” by skincare enthusiasts. After going over all the details—in the name of science!—I’ve narrowed down my must-haves from this collection to two products that really stand out: SKKN BY KIM Vitamin C8 Serum ($90) and SKKN BY KIM Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($90). I promise I’m not just obsessed with serums. Both of these products feature A+ innovations.

Details of the must-have SKKN BY KIM product:

Let’s start with hyaluronic acid, everyone’s favorite hydrating super-charger and BFF for dry skin. What makes Kardashian’s serum more important than all the others? It’s stamina. If you have dry skin like me, you know that a long-lasting hyaluronic acid can really do wonders to keep your skin hydrated and SKKN BY KIM Hyaluronic Acid Serum claims to provide 72 hours of powerful hydration. It’s a big deal, people.

Skinfluencer Arika Sato opened up about how hydrated her skin felt after using this serum in her first Instagram review of the line. Beauty influencer Brandi Pope said using the serum made her “feel like a shining goddess”.

Second on my shopping list is vitamin C8 serum, which Chriselle Lim, founder of PHLUR and owner of exceptionally gorgeous, poreless skin, has been hailed on Instagram. “I’m obsessed with the Vitamin C8 Serum,” Lim wrote in her pre-launch mini-review of the serum. “[It] felt more like a toner than a serum, but I’ve never tried anything like it. The skin is happy and radiant.

According to the brand, the vitamin C8 in this serum is not your average vitamin C. Not only does it treat hyperpigmentation and fine lines, but it actually stimulates collagen synthesis, which is a fancy way of saying that it helps your skin look dewy and plumper from within. Two cosmetic chemists were also impressed with this serum, telling Seduce magazine that this particular type of vitamin C provides “excellent results, stability, and less potential for irritation.”
