Do-it-yourself hibiscus face masks for deep cleansing and a glowing punch

0

Join us, we love this beauty. But first, tell us that roses aren’t the only best flowers out there. Its benefits are too numerous to mention, just like hibiscus flowers. All the flowers are stunning but nothing comes close to what was tried, tested and raved about for centuries. Ask your elders what is the secret to their healthy skin and hair? Their answers probably won’t revolve around stockpiling hundreds of store-bought products, whether or not it does what it brags about. They would say natural homemade recipes are the best. Like hibiscus, it is also an old but promising offering.

Today, let’s take a look at how this miraculous little flower can do good for our skin.

1) Exfoliates your skin: No one hour scrub with the wrong formula can deliver good results. The saponins and AHAs present in hibiscus can help cleanse your skin well and rid it of deep dirt. To make a homemade mask, mix its powder with rose water and aloe vera gel. Spread it gently on your skin and wash it off after 20 minutes.

2) Fights Fine Lines and Boosts Collagen Production: Antioxidants also known as anthocyanins help fight free radicals and vitamin C also gives way to increased collagen and also tightens sagging skin. Considered a natural botox, this flower provides anti-aging benefits. Mask yourself by combining green tea and hibiscus powder. Apply it to your skin and rinse it off once a week.

3) Watch for Acne: With vitamin C, anthocyanins, and beta-carotene, address issues faced by acne-prone skin. Vitamin C is also known to improve skin radiance and fade dark spots. Take 1/2 teaspoon of neem powder and 1/2 of hibiscus and mix them with aloe vera gel. You can also add water to this face mask. Use this recipe no more than once a week.
