Restorative Elements, the first of many new brands from Alchemee, aims to help correct the appearance of various types of skin hyperpigmentation and discoloration, including sun spots, age spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. The new Restorative Elements Restorative Routine is a clinically proven, dermatologist-developed routine formulated to work together to safely and gently fade the visible signs of skin hyperpigmentation.

The Three-Step Routine of Restorative Elements

The three-step synergistic routine is designed to take the guesswork out of improving the appearance of multiple types of discoloration with an exclusive brightening blend containing niacinamide, licorice root and centella asiatica. These ingredients have been deliberately chosen and selected by leading experts and dermatologists due to extensive research and clinical studies proving their ability to help visibly correct marks and dark spots.

“At Alchemee, we are committed to helping people gain confidence for life by providing solutions to their skin concerns,” said Shannon Pappas, Managing Director. “From Proactiv, we know the struggles acne sufferers face even after their acne clears up. The dark spots left behind are what sparked the creation of restoring items and with the help from our top experts, we’ve created a product line that extends beyond post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and helps visibly combat the appearance of many types of hyperpigmentation while being safe and gentle enough for a use twice a day.”

The Restorative Elements routine is suitable for all skin types, is free of parabens, phthalates, oil, and bleaches, including hydroquinone, and is dermatologist developed and clinically tested.

The restorative routine includes the following three steps:

Brightening cleansing gel: A vitamin-rich, antioxidant-rich gel cleanser that gently foams to remove impurities while nourishing the skin and helping to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Brightening Cleansing Gel should be used in morning and evening routines;

AHA Resurfacing Pads: These exfoliating pads contain chemical and physical exfoliants for the best of both worlds. Textured, woven pads formulated with 6% glycolic acid help refine and smooth overall texture as well as fade the look of dark marks and spots. AHA pads should be used all over the face at night and can be used to treat specific pigmented areas in the morning;

Dark mark corrector: A silky, weightless corrective moisturizer that helps visibly fade the appearance of marks and dark spots while hydrating and nourishing the skin. Dark Mark Corrector should be used in morning and evening routines, followed by SPF during the day.

“Hyperpigmentation is considered a chronic skin condition and the most important elements of choosing a skin care regimen for chronic conditions are safety and effectiveness,” said board-certified dermatologist Dr. Rachel Nazarian. by the board of directors. “With a chronic condition, you use ingredients for the long term, so those ingredients need to be proven safe over an extended period of use. I like that all of the products in the Restorative Elements line contain botanical ingredients or vitamin derivatives such as niacinamide, licorice root and centella asiatica which have a strong track record of success and which together form an impressive skin care system which is an accessible alternative to in-office treatments.”

In clinical trials, 92% of users saw an improvement in skin texture; 90% said their post-acne dark marks had diminished; and 92% noticed that their skin was more radiant after eight weeks of continuous use of the three products.
